Dr. Edward M. Hallowell, MD
Founder, The Hallowell Center for Cognitive and Emotional Health
Edward M. Hallowell, M.D. formerly an instructor in psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School, is renowned as an adult and child psychiatrist. He has written a number of national bestselling books, including Driven to Distraction (Pantheon, 1994) and Answers to Distraction (Simon & Schuster, 1996).
Dr. Hallowell is a frequent speaker on issues that include communication strategies, human connection and disconnection, and worry and stress management. He has been featured on PBS and on such national television shows as 20/20, The Today Show, Dateline, Oprah and Good Morning America.
